We had a brillaint time at Berwick, I spent most of the time with the Fergie in the ploughing field.
Great pics John. Sorry I didn't get to see you but as I said earlier I was on the tractor most of the time! Good turnout of exhibits this year I thought, nice to see some different engines there and good to see lots and lots of tractors! Jim P.S. I can see your pics clearly John |

Good to see some new engines, especially the Hindley in steam. Does anyone have any information on the restoration project in the last picture? |
so what is the ploughing engine 3rd picture up from the bottom then please?

haven't got any details on it, other than its a 2? inch scale single cylinder fowler, not sure what it's based on as the engine itself looks more modern than the cylinder design
|
I think its a 'Church' patent circular slide valve, which dates from the 1880's. but the rest of it looks like a BB1 !
I think the bioiler is a Ransomes, & their patented firebox. |
