Default Steam in Devon & Cornwall

Is there anything going on in Devon and Cornwall over Christmas and the first week in January? I cannot look further ahead as I will be at home looking after my wife after she has come out of hospital.

I think the Cornish boys have a gathering and maybe a run near Wadebridge between Christmas and New Year, hopefully someone can confirm?

Dave and Emma Goodwins annual steam -up at their yard at St.Columb near Newquay.

Always several local engines, organ, refreshments and raffle.

And they raise shed-loads of money for local charities.

I haven't had the date confirmed but I'm sure it will be Saturday January 4th. If you want Emma will confirm this - she's on TT as Lightning Strike.

Come along and support their wonderful work if you can.

Stef.

Sorry,

As Steve Syms has stated on another forum, the correct date is Saturday 3rd January, not 4th January is I stated.

Stef.

The correct date is the 4th of January - Steve is possibly looking at the wrong calendar!
