Default Steam on the HCVS London to Brighton run 2019

This year there were five steam entries who all safely made it down to Madeira Drive. (plus one who hadn't entered!)

First to arrive was Gareth Jones Foden wagon

Followed by the Searle's McLaren Boadicea in Gigantic form hauling the loaded dodgem car ride

Next in was Malcom Rogers' Super Sentinel which later took first prize in the steam class

Les and Dee's Burrell Gold Medal tractor End2End arrived next

Next to appear was the Webbs Foden D type who blagged their way in somehow

And finally, having left Crystal Palace at 11.30 the previous night, Stephen Hawkins and his crew arrived just after 2 o'clock on their Aveling and Porter BS type 10 ton roller - a huge congratulations to the whole team, very well done

That's a long trip for a BS roller. Amazing achievement. Well done to them.
