Default A4 pump pattern

Hi, I'm looking to borrow a pattern for a Fowler A4 water pump casting (including steering bracket). I made a request some years ago and a guy from the Selby area got in touch. Unfortunatly I have not followed it up and I have forgot who it was. If your still out there I would be greatful if I could borrow it, or if if anyone has one. Or a complete casting, I would be greatful

Hi Craig

I don't know of a pattern that exists - at least I couldn't find one over ten years ago when I was looking. It might be worth contacting Sam Goddard, 'Hedge', on TT. The integral cast oil tray was broken on his and he may have considered sourcing a new casting. Also, contact Paul, 'Fowler10242', on TT. He bought a new casting for his A4 but I don't think (not 100% sure) it has the socket for the steering support arm.

Cheers Carl.

not changing my water pump casting as not worried about the broken oil tray and steering mount it has been carefully dressed with a file by some one so it can stay with the engine.

pauls fowler probably has the flange style water pump were as mine and maybe yours Carl are the screw type?

Hi Sam.

I thought you were sticking with yours. Mine is also cracked in the 'tray area' but I have faith it will be ok. I think Paul is fitting the flange mounted clack box. Mine is like yours, and screw mounted.

Cheers Carl.

I don't know how to do it Guys, but I've taken a few photos today of what's left of mine. I've tried to up load on TT, but I must be doing something wrong. I will try and email David the photos and he maybe able to post them.
