3" Scale Foster Agricultural Engine

For sale is my Foster Traction Engine.

A large engine in this scale, almost a foot longer than a 3" Burrell and probably a hundredweight heavier. Quite fast in top gear.

Commercially built CE-marked boiler by Tony Baldwin of AJB Engineering, welded steel with expanded tubes, supplied new in 2008. 100psi working pressure. Feed by injector and mechanical pump. Both work very well.

Engine runs well and comes with the driving seat, firing irons & coal. Passenger trolley available for sale also.

Complete with original boiler maker's paperwork and club boiler history from its completion. The boiler has 9 years left on the hydraulic & the steam test is due again in December this year.
