Well we couldn't get the Ducato back on road til Monday-ish (fingers crossed), so back to consulting the Old Glory whats on's, be nice to get some other verdicts in on Pickering, help decide if its worth trying to trade up there next year or leave well alone.

Question Pickering 2010

Have been camping at Pickering since Tuesday,
Disabled campsite long way from showfield, no lighting at night to find way back to caravan.
Totally agree with post about showmans line up they were all over the place much better in the " famous line up ". hardly any engines their this year 59 accourding to programme
excluding minitures.
Rather disapointing to be honist.
Enjoyed seeing lightning 2 back also Dr Busker and tractor pull.
Not sure if will go next year.

I use a 4x4 pickup with a purpose built canopy over the back as my everyday vehicle, why should I be banned from the public campsites at Pickering and Dorset because of my choice of vehicle. Dorset actually state no vans or pickups with the exeption of Landrovers is that fair?

No it isn't fair - just bitter experience.
