Haven't been since the local flavour disappeared in 1984.

I await reports as to whether there is some improvement this year.

It was a great local event indeed for our first eight years of exhibiting, but has not beenin my diary for the last thirty years, when the local charity and preservation stalls were excluded and replaced by lines of burger bars!

That's two rallies on the trot you don't like.
Are there any that you do?

Lighten up Frank, Astle Park is brilliant nowadays, don't know where you get your lines of burger vans from, this year is the 50th and all sorts of events are planned, PM your address and I'll send you a ticket and you can help me on the commentary.

55 Full size engines booked in, and it's not just the steam section there will be a great turnout of Commercials, Tractors, Cars and Motorcycles, another great thing about this rally is that the Car and Commercial section doesn't look like the motorway services car park..
