Default Colchester student lathe

I am after a Colchester student lathe complete with 3/4 jaw chuck and face plate, preferable singe phase but I would consider 3 phase.

Default Lathe.

Hi Steve

I hant got a student but I have a late Elliot mk1n center lathe complete with all the chucks face plate and steadys and catch plate. The headstock nose is the same taper fitting as a student and for my money the lathe is better made. Its in very good condition and has a single phase motor fitted. it comes complete with its original 3 phase motor and switch gear too. I beleave the Elliot mk1n was a rebadged streight bed Wilton. See www.lathes.co.uk for details.

Thanks for the offer Dave, but you are a long way from me.
If I can't find anything near to me then I might conceder your Elliot.

I will have a look in the local Mole Valley Farmers for you I seem to recall someone with an advert for a Colchester lathe.
