Dordt in Stoom - Traction-Talk

We are planning to go this year. I know 'Fowlers are the Best' goes with others on a round trip ending up in Dordrecht but is there any other English presence? Any tips of what to expect from those that have been or attending would be welcome.

We lived in Eindhoven for a time before I retired and we are looking forward to going back after 7 years.

I have started to add to my limited Dutch vocabulary "Ik ben een Engels pinguin"

Hi Davidje,

I will go there too (well, not exactly an english presence though)

It's my first time but I know a couple of people who participate for a long time. It's the biggest meeting on the continent, held in the centre of the city and covers all aspects of 'steam'.

Hmm,

what about a striped goose on a leash ?

I will be there with Busso and his 6" Burrell Devonshire engine so I will be camping on the parking lot where the traction engines are stored. I will PM you my mobile number if that's an option so we can go for a drink or two
