Like Tim I have studies the paperwork a bit and its far more structured than last year when you almost had a total free hand to go where ever you wanted. That was what encouraged us to repeat going. Its an amazing setting but if we are to be in one place all week end and not allowed to move that will disappoint.

See you there we will be arriving around 09.00 on the Saturday morning.

I am hoping that's the case too, I get the impression it may have been lifted from a template Anglian Water use? After all one of the main reasons for moving to this site was the hard roads and potential for movement (especially for the miniatures)

Bringing Ruston in the morning and Robey later on - looking forward to a spot of Busker and a catch up in the evening.
See you at the pub Andy!!

Default Photos of the Engines

Went with Tiny for the two days. A very nice event; hope it keeps going. It was well supported. I really enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures of the engines.

we enjoyed it very much Saturday was a glorious day weather wise Sunday a disappointment but it got better as the day went along.

Far better than last year we miniatures moved around freely and enjoyed gathering outside the beer tent on occasions. Only one down side which is very easily remedied was the food providers seem to have run out after a busy first day with limited choice on the Sunday and maybe a little more choice could be accommodated for next year. We would certainly go again if its on I like the format with not too much structure that said it would be nice to see the big engines able to move but hey up those owners I spoke to were enjoying being there and agreed they liked the format.

Well done to the organisers those I spoke with all thought it has tremendous potential as an event.

We also had a great time. Well done Tom and Charlotte!
Just for the record there were no restrictions on engine movement, we moved ours about as much as we could bear in the heat as did a few others, some stood all weekend but hey ho.
