Default Redbourn Museum Steam Open day – Saturday August 26th

Redbourn Museum Steam Open day – Saturday August 26th

For some years we have held a Steam open day at Redbourn Museum in May, but this year with the Herts Steam rally moving from St. Albans, and our little Aveling roller undergoing an upgrade, it was not possible to hold it then. We are therefore holding the event on Saturday August 26th. If your exhibit (and yourself) are available on this date, please come and join us. Details are as previous years. I will contact those for whom I have contact details, and also through the Herts Steam Club Facebook site, but please pass this on to any others who might be interested. You can contact me via Private Message.

So I hope that you can come along with something from your collection and enjoy the sun, a few beers from the Cricketers, and some steam talk. We normally arrive about 11 am and remain until mid afternoon, but there are no rules! Please pass this invitation along to anyone else interested. As before, models/full size steam/cars/tractors and anything else are welcome, but no money or coal (tea/coffee normally do arrive, though). Redbourn Museum is situated on Redbourn Common, not far from the historic Watling Street St Albans to Dunstable Road, and near Junction 9 of the M1 motorway.
