Folks I am looking for information and parts for a recent aquisition, a Ransomes 4hp steam tractor. Circa 1927-28. All information greatly appreciated.
The parts I am primarily interested in are:
1. Cylinder Block.
2. Crank Shaft.
3. Some Motion Work.

Is this a ' home market ' compound cylinder tractor , or the American style export tractor , which had a single cylinder and single speed and a clutch , with rear entry and two fuel tubs ??

There are a handful of Ransomes tractors in captivity . There may be drawings at MERL , at Reading .
