Alistair

I think Brians Colours look right. Ask him or Myfanwy (John) what the colours are.

Cheers

Tony

Thanks for that, this is why I have not asked about the Green( standard snot). I have my own Green in mind.

But would like the name of the paint that Basil has used on his forks.
Thanks

Alistair

Persian red is what I used on the forks, scrapers, crank pit and the inside of the flywheel.

This was a close copie of what I found in the crank pit when my Father and myself restored the engine.

Some would have you believe that the red on the forks was in fact red oxide which was then varnished. It was before the days of gloss paint and also red oxide would have been man made from powders and binders by each painter for their use at the time needed. Just a thought.
