It is a week or two early this year but next weekend is the the Birkenhead Park Festival of Transport. Located in Birkenhead, Two minuites walk from Birkenhead Park Station,

Nine engines booked in (I know its not many, before you all start) but we are slowly building the event up and I reckon within a few years time, will become a major event (there are plans to move it) Foremost will be attending plus three from John Johnsons, two from Dave Gleave Renown etc, etc plus for the first time five miniatures.
