Default GCR Gala - Quorn 7-10th April

This year we will have the largest collection of steam traction engines, road rollers, steam lorries and miniatures ever on the yard with over 20 engines, including a Steam Car.
Gallopers
Big Wheel
Howard's train rides
Commercial vintage vehicles, classic cars and motor bikes
Tractors
Living vans
Real Ale Bar open throughout
Live Music Friday and Saturday evening
Programme of Events

Show opens at 10.00am each day until 18.00pm except Monday closing at 17.00pm

Our vintage fair, Gallopers, Big Wheel and Howards Train Rides will be open from 10.00am each day, closing at 17.30pm on Friday, 16.00pm on Saturday, 17.30pm on Sunday and 16.00pm Monday, don't forget to visit Rothley station for the mini fun fair, charges for rides apply.

Friday - engines and exhibits arriving throughout the morning

Friday - evening we look forward to live music from Syston Swing Band from 19.30pm onward's, free entry with travel or yard entry ticket or £5.00 for just the evening.

Saturday - 15.00pm the engines, tractors etc. will go on their Annual Road Run through the village of Quorn, turning down Chaveny Road turning left at the mini roundabout in the centre of the village and back along Leicester Road with a pit stop at the Quorndon Fox. In the evening we look forward to Sarah Clarke performing from 19.30pm onward's, free entry with travel or yard entry ticket or £5.00 for just the evening.

Sunday - at 12.15 pm we have our Memorial Whistle for absent friends.

Monday - just join us for a relaxing day soaking up the atmosphere of steam on the track and steam on the yard!!



The Tin Shed Real Ale Bar will be open throughout, opening at 11.00am each morning, closing at 23.00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and 17.00pm on Monday. There will be a selection of guest ales, Nottingham Brewery ales, ciders, prosecco, wine and soft drinks available throughout.
