Lightning II was the only Burrell Showmans to leave the Thetford Works painted green. And it has never been any other colour,although this green appears to be much more vivid thatn the previous green which was much duller.

Just uploaded the only video I managed before the wind got too blustery.
This is of Fowler 16289. Originally a roller new to Bland of Gosforth. Later went complete with driver to Harbour & General. When the driver retired about 1963 the roller was bought by Tom E. Tate whom I helped convert it to a tractor around 1966/7. This was the first time I had seen it since 1971 when I used to drive it round Tom Tate's garden (He then owned Haswell Lodge in County Durham which had a garden of about 7 acres)

It did. Not having seen ot heard it since 1971. I was standing chatting with Bill Summerell & Roy Wakefield with my back to the area and the rest of the field, when it started from the bottom and came up the hill of the field. The sound stopped my chat and I said "That sounds like Supremacy!" - and it was. It has that certain sound that you never forget.
