Here is another machine that took my fancy.
Fantastic restoration.
I like all the extra features these guys added like the clutch.
Look at the extra bracing on the back wheels to take the torque.
Not sure about to tool box above the drivers head. Could give you a surprise on a rough road.

I know this isn't exactly steam but there are a couple of steamers in the background and it does use steam to work the cooling system.

The Navy was in attendance and as usual they appeared to have a great time.
Not sure how far they came to get there.
May have had their low loader hidden down the road a bit or may have driven all the way from Melbourne.

Not sure if this qualifies for a flat type.
Perhaps he is still saving up for the other one.

All who attended had a great weekend. Well most.

There's also George William (14660) at Cobdogla, and Black Bess (14661) at Swan Hill Pioneer Museum. George William made a welcome appearance at Lake Goldsmith's 100th Rally.

Engines Susie-Jane (15499) and 15500 are at the MSTEC in Melbourne (15500 is owned by the club).

15505 was sistered with 15506 - http://museumvictoria.com.au/collect...-z7-class-1919

And a sweet video from ABC TV Weekend Magazine.
