Rempstone 60th Anniversary Rally 8 - 10 July 2016
A few of my photos from the weekend. Glorious on Friday night but sodden by Saturday morning. What a difference a day makes
It was the 60th Anniversary of the rally. John Blagg attended the first in 1956 with Captain Scott and the engine has only missed one rally over that period when she was being boxed. Here is Mr Blagg, a mere 90 years young that weekend, receiving the cup for the best 'Agricultural' engine with other crews looking on and the Captain relaxing in the evening sun Man and machine in perfect harmony Plenty of naked strakes on show Magnificent men in their flying machines Steampower required to extract low loaders
