Green Arrow 3.5" Gauge - Gresley V2
Very unusual model of the famous Green Arrow by Clarkson's of York.
Complete with all blueprint drawings.
The London and North Eastern Railway(LNER) Class V2 locomotive was designed by Sir Nigel Gresley for mixed traffic work.
The Class V2s were the most significant class of 2-6-2 tender locomotives used in Britain.
Just eight of the V2s produced were named with the Grren Arrow being the most famous.
V2s performed astonishing feats of haulage during the war years, often pulling trains of over 20 carriages loaded to 700 tons.
