Default Heavy haulage trailer for traction engine

I would like an early heavy haulage trailer for a traction engine. Something big enough to fit another engine onto, soild wheels would be nice. A much smaller version of the pickfords trailer seen at GDSF. Do many exist? Or is this a futile search?
Mike.

Most early haulage trailers were on solid tyres and had no breaks, its probably better to have a more modern trailer that's more reliable. Presuming it for behind Royal Chester.I will have a look for some trailers that would be nicer for the job

Hi Ethan,
Yes it would be for Royal Chester. I'm definitely open to suggestions so some photos of different trailers would be welcome. I would like to haul the odd engine to local shows so braking would be essential. I do want it to look period though.

The picture below has a nice look to it and sounds perfect for what you would need it for. Fowlers built 2 swan neck trailers for box to haul 12 and 15 ton im sure someone has a picture, i dont think any survived though. You could make your own!

There are a couple in Cornwall that I know of.
One was rumoured for sale last year and would be quite suitable for your needs
The other is in a very poor state, but is doable I'm told
I presume you are not desperate, I will be seeing someone this weekend and can ask about one of them, I won't be seeing the other person for two or three weeks about the other
The biggest problem is the scrap values, you wont get either for less than
I will pm you any details, cheers
