As usual, May Day Steam was held at Abbotsfield Park at Flixton, Urmston, near Manchester was held on the bank holiday weekend at the beginning of May.
All of the engines were regulars but a fresh face was Richard Metcalfe's Clayton & Shuttleworth single cylinder traction engine 'Elizabeth' which was looking well alongside his newly aqquired Fowler living van.
In between 'Elizabeth' and Lee Fisk's Fowler roller 'Navigator' were a fine pair of Z7S miniature ploughing engines with a miniature Fowler mole drainer owned by Lee and Anne Fisk.
