Default canvas tarpaulin wanted

I don't want new, but something with a few years left in it would do as a sun/rain shade over the new project.

Some repairs needed would be OK.

Herts area.

OK but I only need it to last for a couple of years.

Clearly the cheap plastic ones are junk, but I was thinking of canvas sheets or old lorry side curtains.

Old curtainsides are excellent , but very heavy and awkwardly shaped . I use them over canvas sheets .

A few years ago Old Glory gave out a little booklet which had a list of different suppliers, one of the listed suppliers was for used tarpaulins. I did purchase a couple myself and they were very usefull and lasted well. I'm unable to find that booklet at the moment, perhaps somebody else on here might have one more readily available.

There used to be a guy on e-bay selling second hand ex army canvas tarps.

The prices look high untill you find out what a new one costs!
