Hollycombe 50th Anniversary

Morning all. I am assuming the 11 sept 2021 reorganised Hollycombe 50th Anniversary event (originally planned for 1 April 2020) will not now be taking place? Can anyone please confirm and if known advise revised date? Cheers

No mention of any opening actually. Given the problems that beset the place even quite early on - planning etc limiting opening - and the various issue along the way I suppose it was inevitable that Mr Sod and his law would bring along something to stymie any fiftieth celebrations as well.

Best give the museum a shout, they were due to open late July but this has been pushed to early Aug, I do know they have been doing a lot of work up there.

I've just seen an email from Hollycombe. They are looking to reopen this week end or next weekend, 8th or 15th, in a limited way The festival has been cancelled

Just to tidy up this posting, I h
ave today received the following response from Hollycombe

"We are now open. We will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday in August and then Wednesdays and Sundays in September. We are not planning to hold a 50th Anniversary event."
