was informed at the weekend 27 engines booked to attend cromfords 50th rally , but rumour only a handful of full size engines expected at driffield can anyone confirm whats attending driffield please.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to Cromford as I've only been once (and briefly) in 2017 when they had 22 full size engines present. Their website suggests Fowlers Lion and Tiger will be ploughing together.

Lion and Tiger were once owned by my old boss, Cyril Grice from Old Dalby in Leicestershire. It would be great to see them again.

I'm relatively new to this game, the only time I've seen Lion was at Shrewsbury in 2018 where both were together in steam, apparently the first time in some years. However, they didn't plough on that occasion, possibly Lion wasn't quite finished at that time...
They were booked to go to Ashover in 2020 but presumably that never happened and that show is cancelled for this year too..

The last time I saw them was many years ago (early 80's?) in coupland's yard at Carrington near Boston. Neither of them in steam.
