Default Mag drill wanted please
Hi, I'm after a good quality medium sized mag drill that will take a chuck and also rotabroaches.

I've had a look on ebay and many of them look heavily used, as I guess you might expect.

Has anyone got anything they are looking to sell? Prefer the whole kit in a plastic box etc. I could buy a new one of course but I imagine I might get something better for my money by buying used?

Failing that, any makes to consider? Any to avoid? 110v or 240v either is fine.

Any help appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Evolution Bora 2800 from machine mart. Around £280. The best tool I ever bought around 5 years ago. I've drilled barrels, boxes, tenders, perch brackets, chimney bases etc etc. RSJ,s for buildings and lots of other things. Great value for money and lasts well.

second the evo's are 2 are going strong and are getting on 6 - 7 years old know only replaced the brushes ounce in the larger drill.

The small one I have is a Magnatron MB30 - it has an Hitachi drill with a 3mt spindle. Despite being a relatively light unit it is really gutsy.
They do get listed on eBay.

I've given my rotabroach Panther a lot of stick and it's still going well.

Got it online with some TCT broaches which were handy. It came from oribital fasteners.

Alfra machines are good in my oppinion. Mines been in the canal, don't ask! Still going strong!
