1949 Albion tipper truck for sale. Owned from new by Hunt brothers of Oldbury and was used at their Griffin Foundry for moving and Delivering castings. The Griffin Foundry was well known for engine involvement particularly Pat Collins engines. Restoration was started by the Foundry fitters hence the cab being disassembled. The late Len Crane then purchased the Albion and intended it to be his next project after completing his Burrell and Triumph motorbike. It is pretty much complete apart from the cab. The sideboards are on the back along with a door and a a lot of the cab roof sections to help get the profiles from. It was running as Len used to run it up twice a year and drive it up and down his drive, however it has not been started for a number of years. The radiator has been removed to keep safe and looks to be in very good condition. Also included is a spare engine and gearbox and a complete back axle. The original log book is also with the truck. Would make a loverly truck when finished as it is rare and a nice size being no bigger than a transit van.
