Sun 17 Aug 2.21pm • It's the 70th anniversary of the Steam Engine Society and around 20,000 attended a 3 day celebration at Stithians Showground in Cornwall

I'm still in Cornwall until tomorrow but from my experience on Sunday - It was wonderful to attend the West Of England Steam Rally for the very first time. A great turnout on the steam side of things with a mixture of familiar Traction Engines and ones not seen before. I don't what will happen from next year onwards but if they keep a similar number or increase the number of Traction Engines, then I may consider returning again at some point in the coming years.
