Default Fordson Major Gearbox

urgently need a non-live drive gearbox for a major, must be in sound condition.
ideally already stripped of diesel tank, steering box, gear levers etc, i just need the box with all sound gears and a good handbrake.

Cheers, Nick

I could do you a nice 6 cyl ford engine and ancilliaries if you fancy making it a bit more pokey!

PM or call for details.

cheers tony, but thats already the plan, i have a 380 cargo engine plus nice holset turbo ready to go in but having a nightmare time with the gearbox, the one in has knackered reverse idler, had a donor box, that has same problem plus hacked up handbrake.
going to see later in week if i can get a new idler gear cut for less than a replacement gearbox.

cheers anyway, Nick

I have an e27n gearbox in the scrap pile, if it is any use, you will have to come and get the bits you need though.
