![]() Funny really. Had there been an agricultural engine or road loco on display that had been hidden away for 50 years folk wouldn't have stopped talking about it. But because it's 'just an Aveling roller' it doesn't get discussed at all.
What fabulous old engine it is. Nice to know it's going get a new lease life. Dazzla

![]() If all goes to plan, tomorrow (Saturday) I will see the people who were involved in the purchase of this roller. The yard in which it will now live is not too far from my house and I regard the guys who have engines there as good friends.
I will ask if it is okay to put details of the roller here on T-T. As long as the owners are happy for this to happen, I will post whatever info I think T-T members will be interested in. If there is anything in particular a T-T member wants to know, I will endeavor to find out. Either post a message here or send me a PM. As long as I have permission to do so, I will take some photos of the roller tomorrow as well. Michael
