![]() Dad has tryed all to fix block that is on tractor but did not work cant rember what went wrong!
So just trying to fine a 100% block to go with the rest of the engine. But thanks any way.

![]() Really , plating over a crack can work very well . I am sure that this tractor does not have a pressurised water system , all you need to do is to hold in hot water . It is certainly worth having a go , you will probably succeed , and save yourself a lot of money and a complete strip down . If you do not succeed , then all you have lost is a bit of time . Engines have worked for a very long time indeed with plated cracks in the blocks . If the crack is not bulged , then you could have a go at chain studding it , but only if you are very good with taps and drills . And if this failed , then you could still plate it .
