14893 1917 R3 Class Compound Road Locomotive, Reg. No: CT 6888, 8nhp, 12 tons, “MIDNIGHT” History; 1917 - Built in May for the Ministry of Munitions for an order for Russia but she was never sent. 1917 - Sold to H. Moore. * - Sold to John Reynolds, South Yorkshire. 1969 - Purchased by Irvin Barraclough, South Yorkshire. * - Sold to Dave Maris. 2010 - Acquired by John Edward Wright, County Durham Trust this might help Regards Arthur |

76890 1923 Double Crank Compound Traction Engine, Reg. No: PY 272, 5nhp, 10 tons, “WAYFARER” History; 1923 - Built in October as a road roller and sold to Guisborough Rural District Council, Yorkshire. * - Transferred to North Riding County Council, Yorkshire. 1960 - Sold to Sunter, Northallerton, North Yorkshire. 1969 - Purchased for preservation as a roller by Colin West, Yorkshire who converted her to a traction engine in 1983. 2014 - Offered for sale privately in April. 2014 - Offered for sale at Cheffins Auction Sale on Saturday 18 October as Lot No. 2333 with a guide price of £62,000/£70,00 remaining not sold. 2014 - Purchased by Jonty Hutchinson, Northumberland Trust this will be of a help Regards Arthur |
