The Foden Agritractor has changed ownership recently to Blackpool, and is exhibited by Johnsons of Banks. I was driving it round the ring on Sunday, and what a wonderful machine.

Its been out a few times now, was at Liverpool steam on the docks a few weekends ago too.

Is the engine & boiler similar to Foden undertype wagon ?

Engine is same as speed wagons i think, or near as dam it, boiler is very closr to a speed wagon too.

The boiler doesnt have the firing chute of the wagons. Which was one of their faults. Otherwise yes.

The engine is simpler, in that it has no gearbox. So a different case. Lots of detail diferences. But essentially the same engine.
