Why state 5/8 UNC? This form is 11 tpi , not 14 tpi.

I don't understand what you are actually asking for? If it is 5/8" with a UNC form then I guess you mean 60 degree. This is also a metric form. M16 (close to 5/8") is a standard wheel nut size in various pitches.

As for 5/8 x 14tpi - never heard of such a thread apart from 5/8 x 14 BSP but then that is not 5/8" OD.

Not trying to teach granny to suck eggs . . . . just a few thoughts.

Im willing to learn. But I took it to a trailer building in are village and left it with him. When I went back he had a plug tap that he has owned for years had never used and it fits like a glove and stamped on the tap say 5/8 unc 14tpi
An old fella tried telling me how to suck an egg once. You learn something new each day old lad!
