Thanks Nick, yes that confirms it. Reading on another forum John writes that it is the only remaining engine of its kind with only six being built - I was surprised to learn it was built as late as 1930, but I understand that petrol-paraffin engines weren't commonplace until the mid/late 30's anyway.
