Blue King & Showman
Easter Saturday at approx 11.00 am, ex GWR King class locomotive 6023 'King Edward II' and Fowler Showmans road loco 15653 'Renown' will pose together for photographs at Quorn railway station on the Great Central Heritage railway. Later in the day, approx 4.00 pm several traction engines will have a road run into Quorn village.
Railway trains will operate throughout the day and approx 10 full size traction engines are expected. For more details go to www.gcroadandrail.co.uk See you there!
