Whats the story behind this unusual smokebox on this Garrett?

It would appear to be a Garrett fitted with a Superheater just like the one owned by the Massey family.

One and the same isn't it but with canopy removed. Garrett superheated TE 29764 'Olive'

Used to look like this prior to rebuilding with superheater smokebox as originally built by Garretts

It was Burrell 3455, Semper Fidelis actually.



I'll post some more pictures of it later because it was interesting.
