Thoroughly enjoyed my first weekend as an exhibitor, for those who enjoyed seeing Lady Raglan in steam for the first time, special thanks to the following who played a part in the retoration, Dave Ragsdale, Ted Middlemiss, Eddie Ralph (signwriter) but a extra special thank you to Matthew Sheldon and his late father Dave, without whose commitment and skills the project would have been an even longer restoration.

A few of the miniatures, I'm not sure if people are interested. Most are 4 inch though theres a couple of six inches and the B6 road loco is 3 inch.

As I think we all gathered, the Robey is by no means a miniature.

I'd like to echo everyone who said what a wonderful rally it was, I thoroughly enjoyed my day there. Thanks also to everyone I chatted to, especially James Waterfield and for the steer round with the Wallis. It has definitely made my mind up that next year, I will bring Maud here to commemorate the 50 years since she left the fenlands of Lincolnshire for the hilly environs of North East Cheshire and North Derbyshire.

We had an excellent weekend at Lincoln. The company was good, the weather was excellent, the beer was plentiful and of course the rally was bigger than ever. I took some video clips on the camera during the saturday evening, the video can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHQNol7d1kw

I was looking for a gentleman called Ted Middlemiss, I saw his name pop up in this thread. I wondered if anyone has a contact e-mail or number I could reach him on.Thanks Dave

I think he can be contacted via Cheffin's Autioneers in Cambridge. He advises on buying and selling engines.
