Appleford 75th Anniversary 2025
A great turnout of Full-Size Traction Engines (54) plus perfect weather during my visit yesterday.
Being born some 17 years after the final official Steam Rally at Appleford, I am well-versed with the race which took place in 1950 which kicked of the Steam Rally movement and, of course, the late Dr Giles Romanes.
