Just a few (unprofessional) pictures from today’s Weald of Kent Traction Engine Society autumn road run to the Smarden Bell public house, which is becoming an annual event, plagues permitting, and a great opportunity to enjoy the smell of Welsh Steam Coal being burnt before it all runs out! Traction Engine is a bit of a misnomer as it is for all forms of vintage transport and is a great little end of season get together. Weather was most accommodating being reasonably warm in the sun but a bit chilly in the shade!
Nice selection of road steam, cars and motorcycles, sun shone with an opportunity for a pint and a bite coffee wasn’t bad either!
Paul.
