Defender R380 gearbox mainshaft

I am after an damaged/discarded mainshaft - the one which typically gets replaced due to spline failure where it locates inside the transfer box input gear. One of these, except not new.



I would like to get the steel analysed for a project I am working on.

Does anybody have one kicking around that I can have with postage paid?

I tried Ashcroft but I got a less than a helpful response! They may have been suspicious that I have an ulterior motive such as some sort of warranty claim.
