The work of an experienced, professional, engineer this is the second 6″ Burrell Showman’s the builder has completed, his other accomplishments including, but not limited to, a 6″ Fowler Showman’s and the full size Foster Tractor that has also recently been put up for sale. With this in mind its no surprise the fit and finish of this engine is of the highest quality and it is a powerful well sorted machine both on the road and rally-field.

Started in 2014, the engine took 3 years to complete. The boiler was supplied by AJB boilers in 2015, as such comes with all the expected accreditation and paperwork including CE marking. Craftmaster coach enamel has been used for the paintwork and finished with 23 carrot gold leaf, it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the pictures, if not better!

Since completion in late 2017 the engine has been used a handful of times meaning the engine is in as new condition but with the benefit of the “teething troubles” being sorted.

The engine is registered for the road, on which she performs exceptionally well and will outperform most full size road locomotives for speed and ease of use. With a large bunker and belly tanks most road runs are performed solo without the need of a support trailer. The canopy has a removable section at the rear to allow access for the driver.
