A highlight of the show was having the The Portsmouth Action Field Gun Display Teams race each other in the arena. The event they performed was called the South Africa Challenge, which replicated moving 1 tonne, 12-pounder field guns and limber across rough terrain as was done in the Boer war. With us lucky enough to have Billy Treloar's Boer war Fowler road loco attend it provided an excellent photo opportunity;
