24th Basingstoke Festival of Transport 10th May 2015
A free event held in Basingstoke's Memorial Park, organised by The Thorneycroft Society,
A very large event with c500 cars, lorries, buses, fire engines, motor cycles etc. A modest 3 steam vehicles were present, presented in a rather cramped environment, A&P 12335 Sentinel 5509 W&S 7963 PD 1701 'Freddie' Super Sentinel waggon 5509 of 1924. On the left, PD 1701 'Freddie' Super Sentinel waggon 5509 of 1924, and on the right, OT 7939 'Hotspur' AD Class Roller Wallis & Steevens 7963 of 1928.
