Think my face in Chris' photo here just about sums the day up! Endless laughs and fun, by far one of the best days out I've had with the engine and one that I'll remember for a long time, it was great being left to just get on with it and enjoy ourselves, don't think I saw one person looking even slightly bored all day. Very well organised and the meal in the evening was fantastic. The best feeling of all was knowing that every person there that day was there to have a good time and enjoy steam on the road, not for any other reason at all, it made for an incredible atmosphere. I'll try and get a few of my photos up when I get chance. Has anyone got any video from the few hills that we encountered? The one up through the trees must have made for brilliant viewing, would love to see it.
