The 5th Gartell Light Railway Steam & Vintage show is still all systems go. (Boss was out on the 'mower' the grass yesterday!)

A bit more of a relaxed weekend. We have a little bit of everything. The main aim is for public & exhibitors to enjoy themselves & most seem to chat the weekend away.

And of course our 2ft gauge railway. Steam & diesel loco's in operation. Travel though the Blackmore Vale on the old Somerset & Dorset railway. And see our new extension.

Admission is £3 per person (excluding train ticket)

Hope this puts some of the rumours i've heard to rest. The site is well drained (its part of the owners business drainage) with large amounts of hard standing. Ok, i've had to some moving around with the some of the camping along side the new extension & exhibitor parking & camping will more than likely be along the hedge line in the carpark.

We will have 1 final check Sunday (21/7) but after looking/checking yeasterday, we have a plan B to cope. I'll upload a couple of piccys to show the site.
