I think you will find that Aveling water pumps differ by type of roller, and there were definitely changes in pump design about 1922 during the piston valve era despite the basic roller design remaining the same. I think you should let the world know what type and year of engine you require the pump for. Aveling water pumps were subject to frost damage and many rollers lost them for this reason. Sandy
