The rumble of antique tractors will fill the air as Steam-Era returns for Labour Day weekend. Hosted by the Ontario Steam and Antique Preservers Association, the annual event takes place at Hume’s Auction Farm () and offers visitors a chance to step back in time to when agriculture relied on steam engines and hard manual labour. The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 29 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 30, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. The weekend will be packed with activities, from threshing and tractor skill competitions to a daily afternoon parade.
