![]() Can anyone post the history of McLaren “Captain Scott”? It is a fine looking engine – is it a road loco? Was it built as it is today, with the spoked flywheel and without motion covers? I am intrigued what the story is behind the engine, whether it was used in agriculture from new, or perhaps it was requisitioned during WW1... I am assuming it was originally built for a customer in the UK.
Thanks in anticipation, Michael |
