Default HCVS London to Brighton Run 4th May 2014

For anyone interested here are some of the steam entries arriving at Brighton

Ian Langley on Puffing Billy

Paul Attwater and Dave Mansi on Jess

Patrick Edwards on The Busy Bee

Andy Holmes on his Ruston Proctor

I didn't get round to taking a photo of Boadicea as Les had big end bearing problems on the way down and arrived well after the other engines

Sorry Hedd, with such a wealth of quality vehicles to choose from I only took a few photos of the steam entries. Its not easy trying to take photos of the entrants when you're supposed to be judging them within a fixed timescale before the presentation of awards at four o'clock - I've been late every year so far but it's getting easier with experience.

Here's a video of some of the engines on the road, well worth the ridiculously early start to see them heading through London in the dark. Hundreds of photos to trawl through when I finish work!.

Big thank you for filming us at stupid o'clock in the dark, was a great experience but still exhausted.

Any more would be appreciated as we didn't get any ourselves as were a bit busy.

Thanks

Andy
