Default Photo's from Ireland

This may not be the place to put this thread or I may have missed them.

Do we not have any TT members in Eire or Northern Ireland who attend rallies and take photo's.

There may be more members like me who never leave these shores so we never get to see engines from over the water.

Arthur

I went to Durrow Vintage Tractor Rally while on holiday in Eire earlier this year. They had a few steam there:-

Also TT member Celtic Steamer (Tom Tynan) has a Facebook page where he keeps putting up traction engine pictures.

Tom also brought 2 engines over from Ireland to South Cerney this year, and Irish McLarens are often seen at GDSF.

Thanks Roy.

I had thanked you on your above quoted thread (sorry getting old). Wasn't able to get to South Cerney or GDSF this year.

It's OK Arthur. I have same problem. Over 21 and the memory is going.
Just doing Bishop's Castle Michaelmas Fair and Welland to end this year of rallies.
Not been to Mildenhall since 1974 (service at RAF Honington)

It was definitely Jack Hampshires as I have his books and he worked with my grandfather in his youth.
